Recently, HDI became a proud partner in the new World Trade Center project. HDI is providing guardrails for observation deck and park areas, as well as many of the railings and handrails within the building. Most of the guardrails and railings are made-to-order, being engineered and designed especially for this one-of-a-kind project.
A Unique Look from the Top of the World
Many of the guardrails and railings HDI is manufacturing for the WTC complex project will include our integrated LED lighting, that has been added to provide a uniquely stylish appearance, but also as a safety factor. The supplemental lighting provided by the integrated LEDs not only provides a cool, ethereal glow but will highlight any potential trip hazards.
Building the Look that the World Wants
HDI has provided over 1500 linear feet of railing systems, specifically the CIRCUM™ railing system to be used in different areas of the World Trade Center Complex. As mentioned before, these railings and guardrails have been customized with integrated LED lighting, but also include the tempered glass infill panels for a stylish, secure view from the new observation decks on the 100th through 102nd floors.
