Stunning and Functional Lobby Space

The Hartley needed a grand staircase in its two-story lobby space that would not only be a focal point but also blend seamlessly with the luxury aesthetic of the complex. The staircase required a railing system that provided safety, durability, and an elegant design to complement the ornate, hanging light fixture and overall modern look of the lobby.

Installing the Optik™ Boss Railing System

HDI Railings installed the Optik™ Boss railing system on the grand staircase in the lobby area of The Hartley. The infill consists of 9/16” thick laminated (SGP interlayer) acid etch low-iron tempered glass, achieving a frosted privacy glass look. All railings, posts, and components were powder-coated with a flat black finish, enhancing the modern and sophisticated appeal of the space.

Enhancing the Lobby’s Elegance and Functionality

The installation of the Optik™ Boss railing system transformed the grand staircase into a striking centerpiece in The Hartley’s lobby. The minimalist design and frosted glass infill provided both privacy and an upscale look, aligning perfectly with the luxury aesthetic of the complex. The flat black finish added a sleek and contemporary touch, while the coordinated design ensured seamless integration with the overall decor.

In the finished installation, the Optik™ Boss railing system pairs seamlessly with the open stair tread design, creating an inviting and visually appealing transition between floors. The open stair treads enhance the sense of space and light in the lobby, ensuring the staircase remains the focal point without overwhelming the overall aesthetic. This successful implementation not only enhanced the visual appeal of the lobby but also reinforced The Hartley’s commitment to quality and sophistication in its design.
