The design and construction of the new Harris Teeter store required a sophisticated approach to safety and aesthetics, particularly in the stairways and balconies. The goal was to install a railing system that would ensure customer safety and align with the store’s sleek, modern design.
Installation of HDI’s CIRCUM™ Round system
The CIRCUM™ Round system, featuring elegant round posts, was chosen for its clean lines and modern appearance. The railing system was installed with a 240-grain brushed finish, providing a polished, sophisticated look that complements the store’s contemporary design.
On the stairways, the railings were side-mounted to steel, offering both stability and a streamlined appearance. HDI’s full installation services were utilized for this project. Their experienced installers worked on-site, directly installing the custom railing system and collaborating with other construction teams to ensure a smooth and successful installation.
This approach was particularly beneficial given the complexity of the project and the need for precise execution to meet the store’s opening deadline.
